Malay Child Spirits

Well there are some similiarities of Kuman Thong and other "Ghost" in other beliefs.
For example,The Kuman Thong is kinda similar to a Malay Child Spirit called "TOYOL" or "ANAK KERAK".
Keeping the fosilised foetus will result it getting good fortune but not being able to satisfy the ANAK KERAK will bring you big trouble.ANAK is a malay word for child and KERAK is a malay word for CRUMPS( Think Bread crumps).

Anak kerak is believe to have come from a dead foetus which was killed on purpose while still in the womb.
The best foetus to be made into an ANAK KERAK are believed to have come from the 1st CHILD from the PARENTS who are also the 1st CHILD.
The foetus should be extracted from the womb on TUESDAY and should be killed when it turned 7 or 8 weeks old (while still in the womb).

The ANAK KERAK have to be well taken care of,offerings of milk, toys, milk bottle, pacifiers, pillows etc etc have to be offered all the time, its bed have to wrapped in yellow cloth.

There are rumours that the ANAK KERAK are actually BARBEQUE on a slow flame until it dries out and wrinkled.
Then it is wrapped in a red cloth along with some talisman.
The ANAK KERAK is believe to have originated from PATTANI.

Introduction to Ghost in Thai Culture

Ghosts (Phi) are alive and well in Thailand. Cinemas are guaranteed a full house for the opening of a new ghost movie or indeed a re-run of an old one. On television, ghost stories are extremely popular and come in many varieties from the comic to the gruesome. But ghosts are no laughing matter in Thailand. If pressed, the majority of the Thai population will admit to believing in ghosts and many claim to have seen them. This phenomena is not restricted to the elderly in rural villages but is even taken seriously by university students and people in all walks of life and is particularly strong in Northern Thailand. It is bad luck and tempting fate to talk about ghosts but nearly everyone has a tale to tell. Many Thais wear amulets to protect them against evil spirits and everywhere you go in Thailand you will see Spirit Houses (San Phra Phum).
There are many different kinds of ghosts in Thailand all of them to be feared and each posing a different threat. To combat this proliferation of evil spirits Thailand has its own special kind of "Ghost Buster", the Mho Phi or ghost doctor. Different techniques are employed depending on the type of spirit to be banished and some of these Mho Phi have gained celebrity status.

Mae Nak

There is no Thai who does not know Mae Naak. While mentioning her can make young children run and scream hysterically in the "Nang Naak game", mothers invoke Mae Naak's name to quiet their crying infants; otherwise, the ghost might break their necks and eat their heads with chilly sauce. The gothic tale of Mae Naak Phra Khanong has been filmed more than twenty times; moreover, every one of them is a box-office hit. Thai youths grow up watching her ghostly tale on television.

Guman Thong Warning

As there has been some trouble and complaints regarding to THAI SPIRITISM and Guman Tong I need to warn the readers of this forum strongly against people who coincidentally give a link or email about Webpages who start like:

You have problem ... solve them with our items BOLLOKS

About a certain Ajahn - who is not known in Thailand nor in Cambodia nor in Laos - I needed quite a bit time to check that out.

He is - if he even exist - certainly no monk either. Have the statement of maaany (100 more of monks) who have seen an item (ONE OF THAT VERY RARE ONLY 8 PIECES STUFF) of the page I will talk about - sent to me by a victim and member of this forum.

Unfortunately I can't put a picture here (my picuture limit is somehow out) about that item which is said to be from that page to be Guman Tong.

- Although I very much would like too and challenge that wannabe with questions what the symbols are and showing the mistakes on his item (because he got lots of stuff wrong).

But 450 and more US$ is a fine price, right? So it must be real, right ?

The prices are astonishing and I mentioned that and can remember very well that some other members had the same opinion.

The items done are CERTAINLY NOT DONE BY A MONK - so LP Yam Abbot of Wat Sam Ngam and is just dirty stuff low level of a wannabe with a sick spirit.

LP Yam smiled and kicked the item to the ground after he cleaned it.

Certainly the GMT items are NOT GMT and NOT THAI,CAMBODIA OR LAOS, as the sick spirit is very much fixed to the amulet - you can feel it but its just... well I said it, trash.

So if the guy who spread those lies and harmful stuff reads this - know that you can call your page Tibet spirit, Russian or African Hip Hop or just I pulled it up myself spirit - but rather than Thaispritual --- even the Somdej Pims are fake.

Harmful is your stuff because intentionally wrong and missguiding for people in trouble already.

Another thing to GUMANG TONG:
1. YOU CANT GET A REAL GUMAN TONG IN A SHOP OR IN INTERNET
(accept that even if it hurts you)

2. EVEN IF IT IS AN LP YAM ITEM, ITS NOT REAL GMT BECAUSE IT HAS NOT SPIRIT ONCE YOU BUY IT FROM A WEBBI OR IN A SHOP! (spirit stays with the one who received it from the LP and if he messes up the amulet, who want it anyway? ... ahhh forgot the greedy collectors).

3. GMT is not only for good luck, but it is about responsibility too.

4. --- those are statement are from LP Yaem himself (!!!),- made yesterday at Wat Sam Ngam.

5. Beware anything sold by the Black Monk he too trained with Er Ger Fong and was an associate of Miyuki Ishikawa.   He was the founder of the Black Lotus GMT now operating in Venice, Louisana, they WORSHIP Miyuki Ishikawa, real bad people.

So, if you have stuff from that page, let me tell you, that you are quite in trouble.

I helped a member, but won't do it again.

Get rid of your trash - even if you paid badly to much and just don't keep it because of the lost money - its gone anyway.

Don't give it to others either, because it will fall back on you.

Such has nothing to do with Thailand and thai Spirit and I write this here to defend Thai Buddhism.

The most ironic statement the mentioned webpage does is .........

"With our services you are able to invite a highly valued collector’s item without worries on spending on an fake item and you may save the time and money for the traveling to Thailand."

-- my answer to this claim is - if at least YOU would come to Thailand you would be at least in a position to buy some stuff who looks real, --- but you seem to keep your own claim ... better not face the travel cost right - although with this prices it should be peanuts for you.

.. and why the heck I can't find where they are living or an address - any help?!

Also for GMT real practitioners, stay away from  anything relating to the The Stuart House haunting.  Miyuki Isihkawa a dark GMT, highly powerful, it's her domicile. She trained under Er Ger FongShe kills.   Stay away from anything to do with her.

faj

PS about the non thai stuff I can't say, but how much you trust somebody who lies about Thaispirit already? I let it with you.

And just a sarcastic joke nearby: If somebody want that 450 Dollar item - contact me - for just the cost of sending ... you can have it, well just wait, maybe I should offer it to the pageowners themself as it is soooo rare, they shouldn't have a problem to get it back --- would they pay the price ?!?!

All serious amulet dealers give you 6 month time under the restrictions that the amulet must be in perfect condition - you can give it back and choose another one.
That's at least something.

Farmville Police bring in occult expert

FARMVILLE, VA (WWBT) - The attorney for Farmville murder suspect Richard McCroskey met with prosecutors for the first time today. Cary Bowen says the meeting was cordial but he would not elaborate on what was discussed. NBC 12 has confirmed that Farmville police have called in an expert on the occult.
Don Rimer spent 33 years as a detective with the Virginia Beach police. He now spends his retirement teaching police departments around the country about occult crimes. He says he was called in because an expert on the symbols found in the music the teens listened to.
"My end goal is to educate parents. Law enforcement every discipline on the dangers of the occult," Rimer said.
He's known as an expert and he says he was called the night the bodies of Emma Niederbrock, her parents Debra Kelley and Mark Niederbrock and her friend Melanie Wells were discovered.
"What those investigators stepped into? A slaughter house, they stepped into a slaughter house on Friday night," said Rimer.
A week before the bodies were discovered, the four victims had gone to this music festival in Michigan. It's not clear if a girl on the left with the pink hair is Emma, but we know she was in the front row and her friends were the performers on stage. The music is called Horrorcore.
"About murder, about killing about all kinds of ritual abuse anyone could take a look at that and that's the world she was interested in," he said.
A world Rimer says teenagers, who are already curious and prone to depression, could fall too deep in.
"There are parents that believe it's just a fad, it's just the music. It's just a game. Just a movie, but I call it Russian roulette. We can't take that chance," Rimer said.
As of now, McCroskey is only accused in Mark Niederbrock's death but, more charges are expected, police are just waiting for forensic evidence.

An Occult Library

Wojciech Usarzewicz, a student of librarianship in Poland, has started the creation of a library of the occult and parapsychology, called Librarium Parapsychologicum. The library will feature books, magazines and audio-visual volumes about parapsychology, ghost hunting, psychic phenomenon, magic, divination, spirituality, and paranormal fiction. Wojciech states that "we want use stuff we collect to push the science forward, by allowing people access the library to use it in their research, and to do research on our own."
