Corpse bearing signs of ritual murder found in St. Petersburg

MOSCOW, June 17 (RIA Novosti) - A corpse with occult symbols carved into it has been discovered in Russia's second city of St. Petersburg, the Fontanka Internet portal reported on Monday.
The body of the man, said to be in his thirties, was found hanging from a tree on Sunday afternoon in the Olgino region of the city, a short distance from the Baltic Sea's Gulf of Finland.
Fontanka said that the dead man had a Taoist Tai Xuan Jing symbol carved on his forehead, an upside down pentagram cut into his chest, and the words, "I go to take revenge" carved into his left arm in Japanese. He was dressed in a black leather jacket, black trousers, and army type boots. Nearby, what has now been identified as a Guman Tong doll, sat nearby.
An investigation is underway.

UPDATE: The U.S. Russian embassy has since confirmed the man's has been identified as William Sloan of the United States.  Worked as an editor for Iron Dragon Films.
He had been lead editor for a documentary in post production "The Stuart House Recordings"
