5 Things Your Ouija Board is Telling You!

Ouija Boards are a mystical, fantastical tool people use to contact someone from the other side. Sometimes people have interacted with kind spirits while others have been unlucky by making contact with spirits from the wrong side of the tracks. It's important to know exactly what your Ouija Board is telling you.

I have friends who have used the Board before, ending with negative results. Sometimes it's best to leave the spirits at bay. You don't want to end up with the wrong crowd.

Take a look at these ideas to help you understand how the spirits are communicating and what they are trying to do.

Q: Ok we'll drop that. What can you tell me about the Ouija board? Is
the Ouija board ok to use?

A: The Ouija board is probably responsible for 7 out of 10 of our
cases. It's one of the first things I ask in an investigation…: has any
member of the family ever played with a Ouija board?
(An interview with renowned Paranormal Investigator Ed Warren.)

1. WHEN YOU'RE ILL, PUT THAT BOARD AWAY.

Negative spirits have a tendency to use the energy from those who are more vulnerable and weakened. When you are sick, it is best not to use a Ouija Board in any matter. A possession is more likely to occur in this physical state.

2. DON'T BURN IT!.... EVER.

This is probably one of the oldest rules in the books. Don't ever burn a Ouija Board. The proper way to dispose of it is break it up into several pieces, pour some holy water on it, and then bury it. Also... don't throw it away. Not very respectable to the spirits.

You remember in The Conjuring when they tried to throw out Annabella? Girl, she kept coming back at their doorstep. Each time she was angrier and angrier. Properly dispose of your personal problems.

3. REMOVE THE PLANCHETTE

It is common sense.... never keep the Planchette on the board when it is not in use. You must always remove it from the board. Think of it as a portal.... if it stays on, the spirits can still come through. If the planchette is off of the board, then the spirit has no where to go. It's trapped in its own world (and rightfully so).

"Never put your hands on a Ouija board, girls," Warren sternly said. "If you could only see what happens in these homes ... doors can be opened."

4. ALWAYS BEGIN AND END A SESSION.

It is vital that you never immediately end a conversation with the spirit. Make sure you either say Goodbye or wait until they are ready to leave the session. It's like talking with a person. You don't just leave midway through a conversation. Say your farewell, bid thee adieu, and end the conversation as if talking regularly to another person. It shows good communication skills but is also a sign of respect to the spirit.

It's important that one remains respectful at all times to the Spirit you are communicating with. You do not know who you are talking to, or who you are dealing with. Keep an open mind when using a spirit device.

5. REPEATING ITSELF

All I know is if a Board is constantly repeating itself over and over again or the figure 8 is being made... it is time to put the board to rest. These are signs of negative entities coming through and it is better to be safe than sorry.

Be safe. Be smart. Make the right choices when it comes to contacting spirits from the other world. People (including myself) are inexperienced and don't know what's really out there. Keep and open mind and think twice before you crack open a Parker Bros. plastic Ouija Board or if you use an antique, wooden board from a Witchcraft store. It's best if you put these boards away in the back of your upstairs closet. It will not make weird drum beat sounds like Jumanji, but you could have serious repercussions. Play with precaution, my friends.
