Cursed Kenyan Bridge Continues to Thwart Witch Doctors

Via coasttocoastam.com

A notorious bridge in Kenya that has been the site of several fatal car accidents continues to claim new victims despite multiple cleansing attempts by witch doctors.

Known as the Kamukuywa Bridge, the location is feared by locals because it is believed to possess a 'black spot' that has resulted in the deaths of numerous drivers in recent years.

The most infamous among these motor vehicle mishaps was a massive crash this past December in which 16 people died.

The late-2017 incident led to a bizarre story where a self-described medicine man retrieved a mysterious 'creature' from the area and claimed that this beast was the source of the curse.

However, it would seem that the oddity uncovered by the sorcerer, whatever it was, may have actually been innocent as 2018 has already seen at least another four unfortunate individuals perish on the bridge.

As such, another two attempts to stop of the strange spate of accidents on the bridge have been attempted in recent weeks.

The first featured a witch doctor from Tanzania who journeyed to the bridge and tried to apply his brand of magic on the site.

Leading residents to the bridge, he instructed them to dig at a specific spot, whereupon they reportedly unearthed a pot containing various 'magical' items which the witch doctor blamed for the bridge's curse.

When another person subsequently died at the site following the witch doctor's visit, village elders decided to perform yet another ritual at the bridge to hopefully appease whatever was causing these accidents and also to free the spirits of the victims from being bound to the area.

Whether the third time will prove to be the charm for the cleansing attempts at the Kamukuywa Bridge remains to be seen, but local residents waiting for an answer may wish to seek alternative routes until then.
