Bizarre Garlic 'Exorcism' Turns Fatal

Via coasttocoastam.com

Authorities in Vietnam have arrested a pop singer accused of killing a woman in a bizarre exorcism gone wrong.

According to police, Nguyen Viet Cuong had been partying with the unnamed victim over the course of the evening when the pop singer suddenly began to have hallucinations.

These visions led the intoxicated Cuong to conclude that the woman had become possessed by an evil spirit.

In response, the duo proceeded to scatter garlic throughout the apartment where they were staying as a way of warding off the sinister force.

However, Cuong then began repeatedly shoving garlic cloves in the unfortunate woman's mouth until an astounding 33 of them were lodged in her throat, causing her to die from suffocation.

Police subsequently arrested the out-of-control pop singer and charged him with the woman's death as well as the consumption of unnamed narcotics which, clearly, had a hand in his strange hallucinations.
