Message to aliens pasted on Bristol phonebox

Via bristolpost.co.uk by Joseph Smith

A message to an extra-terrestrial visitor has been stuck to a phone box on Unity Street.

The message, addressed to an “Off Worlder” takes the form of a poster stuck to the outside of the phonebox.

Two copies of the message appear side by side - perhaps more posters have been printed and stuck up in other parts of the city?

But who is making these signs? And who is the Off Worlder they are trying to communicate with?

The sign itself gives few clues.

It reads: “OFF WORLDER

“The place you parked when your passenger pointed me out to you is where I live, number 20.

“Then I met you in person at the garage.

“Thank you

“I am over my initial surprise and want to help in any way I can.

“I still have proof from a previous encounter.

“I look forward to meeting you again.”

It seems the author was (understandably) surprised during their first encounter with the 'Off Worlder', which appears to have happened at a garage.

But now whoever wrote the message has calmed down a bit, they want to meet the extra-terrestrial again and help them with their mission.

But what is their mission? Why is the author so keen to help?

Is the Off Worlder a friendly ET-style alien or a belligerent Independence Day kind of alien?
