Mysterious packages containing conspiracy theory discs are being found in the Valleys

Via walesonline.co.uk by Tyler Mears

A number of mysterious packages containing a disc full of conspiracy theories have been found in random spots around the Valleys.

Sealed in an envelope marked 'Please read and ask questions', the packages have been discovered in the Rhondda and Aberdare .

The discs contain a number conspiracy theories, including clips about NASA, McDonald's, the 'Flat Earth' theory, CNN, David Bowie and terrorist attacks.

The identity of the person/people leaving the packages remains a mystery but they have been dubbed by some people as the 'Conspiracy Banksy'.

The packages contain a disc

The latest package was found by a warehouse manager at Greenstream Flooring on Rheola Industrial Estate in Porth, Rhondda.

Lloyd James, who works at the warehouse, said: "My warehouse manager found it by the fire exit. We opened it and it was just full of conspiracy theories.

"Apparently a couple have been found in the Rhondda.

Similar envelopes have been found

"I haven't got a clue who left it. There's definitely a very big conspiracy theorist around here somewhere.

"It interested me, because I was massively into them as a teen. Not so much now, but somebody around here is definitely into them quite a lot."

Similar packages have been found across the Rhondda, including one in a phone box in Dinas a few months ago.

The person who found it - who asked not to be named - said: "I found it in a phone box in Dinas a few months ago in a case exactly like the one found in Porth.

"I think I still have it here somewhere, but I never actually got round to seeing what was on it.

Identity remains a mystery

"My laptop had no disc drive and it didn't work in any of the other platforms I had. To be honest, I completely forgot about it until I seen that post.

"I haven't got a clue who's leaving them, but this phone box has been unused for a while and it was raining heavily. The only reason I found it was because I used the box to shelter from the rain for a few minutes.

"It was about 4am when I found it, so what time it was placed there I can only guess."

Another package with the same writing and contents is also thought to have been found in Aberdare.
