Ghostly face appears in building window

Via dailymail.co.uk by Khaleda Rahman

Workers at a scrap metal business have been left terrified after a picture captured what appears to be the image of a ghostly old woman in their office’s window.

The manager of Taroni’s in Aston, Birmingham, asked his nephew Wesley Topham to take a few pictures of the building for the company’s website.

But Chris Ward was shocked when saw the ethereal face appear in the window – and is now considering calling in medium for help.

His hardened, five-strong workforce have admitted being scared to enter the ‘cold, dank’ room the ‘ghost’ is believed to haunt.

They report documents have been mysteriously moved, have heard echoing bangs and felt the temperature plummet for no apparent reason.

Recently, they arrived at work to find the place flooded.

The source of the leak was a smashed toilet in the washroom directly above – but the building extensively alarmed and a bell should have rung is anyone had broken in.

Mr Ward, 51, said: 'I'd think twice about going up there at night and one guy refused to go up there at all.

'One customer came out absolutely white-faced. He claimed something had come out of the wall.'

He added: 'There's definitely something going on. You go up there and the temperature drops so much you have to catch your breath.

'We've been here six years and when the previous owners visited, their first question was 'Have you seen the ghost?'

One medium has already put forward a theory, claiming the site is haunted by a little boy.

And visitors to the company's Facebook page say can see a second paranormal image, to the left.

Julie Topham said: 'It's a boy, such a sad soul. He was very hungry and left to fend for himself. He got trapped and burned in a fire.'

But the ghost of an old woman, who is believed to have taken up residence the Victorian building's store room, remains a mystery.
