Texas man lists haunted Apple MacBook laptop for sale on eBay

A man is trying to sell a haunted laptop computer on eBay that he listed on Monday. According to a report from ABC News today, the Apple MacBook and the ghost that comes with it is up to $5000.

The computer is a 2007 Apple MacBook laptop that features a 2GHz chip and 4GB of RAM. The white laptop runs OSX 10.6.8 and is also haunted. It is located in Austin, Texas.

The owner, eBay user wfatzinger claims that he left the laptop in a cemetery overnight by accident.

He says that the haunting began when a ghost attached itself to the computer while it was left behind. The owner took the laptop to the graveyard to listen to music why he did some sketches. The cemetery is located near an abandoned and allegedly haunted mental hospital.

"It’s unclear just how this laptop came to be haunted, but I bet it was the time I left it in a graveyard next to an abandoned mental hospital all night by accident. I was doing some sketches in the graveyard and I brought the computer with me to play some music while I honed my craft. Anyway, I woke up the next morning and realized I’d forgotten the dang thing there in the graveyard," the owner said in the eBay listing.

The iTunes playlist became haunted and plays scary music and the computer's desktop background even changes to frightening images by itself. The owner said that after a few days the laptop sounded like it was uttering words as if it was trying to speak. He claimed that a pen and a sheet of paper was left near the computer and it left a handwritten message.

The owner believes that the ghost was a person that lived before computers were created because it can't type messages. He claims that it isn't a negative spirit. It also helps with house cleaning.

The eBay listing currently has 155 bids and is up to over $6000. The auction ends on Sunday at 3:56 p.m.
