Nearly 2 dozen dolls pulled from Autauga Co. swamp

The Autauga County Sheriff's Office says it has removed nearly two dozen dolls from an area swamp after getting numerous calls from residents questioning their placement.

The sheriff's office posted photos of the dolls on its Facebook page that show the toys sticking out of the mud in Bear Creek Swamp, approximately 30 yards off County Road 3.

The dolls were apparently placed in the swamp on Halloween, but attempts by the sheriff's office to contact the owner of the land have not been successful.

Now, the sheriff's office is asking the public to help identify the owner of the dolls or those who put them in the swamp by calling their office at 334-361-2500.
