Pazuzu Algarad is accused of killing two men and dumping their bodies in a shallow grave in the back yard of his home in Clemmons, North Carolina.
The heavily tattooed man is alleged to have told pals that he killed people, ate part of them and dumped the rest in a fire pit.
Police have now released a sickening video of the inside of his home, which has pentagrams, swastikas and pictures of demons on the walls and festering rubbish piled up waist high.
The front door is covered in pictures of skulls and what looks like incoherent ramblings, but behind it are a series of putrid rooms, where neighbours say Algarad took part in animal sacrifices.
Algaradd, 35, has been charged with the murder of Frederick Wetzler, 37, and Tommy Dean Welch, 35 after the bodies of the men were discovered in Algarard's back garden in October.
A 24-year-old woman, Amber Burch, has also been charged with murder after police dug the bodies up last month. A third person, 28-year-old Krystal Nicole Matlock has been charged as an accessory with police alleging that she helped bury the bodies.
According to TV station Fox 8, a friend of Burch said Algarad, who openly bragged about killing two prostitutes, claimed to get a high from eating the “still-beating heart” of a sacrificial animal.
Burch’s friend said conditions inside the house were so bad she thought she might vomit and when she first arrived to visit her friend in 2009, Algarad was completely naked and never put on any clothes during the visit.
She added that excrement on the floor might have been both animal and human, and as she walked in she noticed satanic words written on the walls.
The friend said: “He was on all kinds of drugs and drink when I got there. I’m pretty sure I witnessed him peeing in the corner.”
A sign on the front door warns police not to enter. It reads: "No gang members allowed: anyone that dresses the same, has the same badge and call themselves the authority of the land they did not create". Below this are the words 'Evil will triumph'.
According to the Winston-Salem Journal, Algarad was born John Lawson, but his mother Cynthia Lawson, who is allegedly also a Satanist, changed his name to Pazuzu - after the demon that possessed the girl in the film The Exorcist.
Friends have told how his tongue is split down the middle like a snake while others claim he filed down his teeth to a point.
In 2010, the satanist was convicted on a charge of accessory after the fact in the shooting death of 30-year-old Joseph Chandler.
Chandler's body was found near a river by police after his mother reported him missing that morning.
