'Vatican' UFO Confounds Experts

Are aliens communicating with leaders in the Catholic Church? Well, there's been another UFO sighting over Rome, Italy and it's sure to stoke all the rumors about the Vatican and extraterrestrials.

The sighting took place on Saturday, but it's unclear where in Rome the encounter occurred. Was it anywhere near Vatican City?

Your ears perk up any time there are unexplained craft in the skies over Rome. The Vatican's head astronomer, Rev. José Gabriel Funes, once admitted there could very well be life in other places in the universe. It would make perfect sense for UFOs to monitor the Catholic Church, considering its one of the oldest and most powerful organizations on the planet.

Last year, the Vatican brought together astronomers, astrophysicists, clerics and scientists to discuss the possibility of alien life.

Of course, now everyone gets alarmed when they witness anything resembling a UFO near Rome. The flying object in Saturday's video closely resembles an airplane, honestly, but decide for yourself.
