Inside Fukushima: A Look Inside Japan's Crippled Nuclear Plant

On November 12, a group of about 30 journalists were allowed inside Japan's crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. It's the first time reporters were allowed inside since the devastating earthquake and tsunami in March.

As the New York Times reports, the trip was intended to reassure visitors that the situation at the plant is under control. But as The Guardian reported recently, the mess could take up to 30 years to clean up.
