Satanic Sect broken up in Chiclana de la Frontera

SPAIN- Six people have been arrested

The Cádiz Civil Guard has arrested six people across the province in connection with a satanic sect which was established in the region.

The Guardia Civil believe that the six people now being questioned made off with the assets of the other members of the sect which was based in a house in Chiclana de la Frontera, and where animal sacrifices were among the rituals carried out.

The investigation started last September and the Civil Guard say a married couple, 34 year old C.J.R.L. and 24 year old M.M.P. led the scam, placing advertisements guaranteeing solutions to sentimental and sexual problems.

Those who responded to the advertisements and made contact often became dependent on the couple, and in some cases sold all their property to give the sect the proceeds. Male members of the sect were also used to carry out improvements to the couple’s home, while the women, named by the sect as ‘Women of Satan’, had to carry out all the domestic chores for the couple.
