23:15 Several of the advance team are now camping out at campsite #1. Campsite #1 is five to seven miles from the entrance to the canyon that we are investigating. They have cell phone use at #1. Any further in and the cell phones become jammed, evidently by military emissions from the nearby White Sands missle range. Further once inside the canyon cell phones become worthless.Several minutes ago, got a call in from them. reporting some strange cries coming from the mouth of the canyon, not Coyote or other normal sounding creatures.
