Tomie Vs Tomie (2007) Full Length Horror
Partially based on the Tomie manga "The Gathering." A young man with a past begins work in a factory, where he attracts the amorous attention of a mysterious woman who lurks behind the scenes. He is a relatively unique young man, perhaps a genetic one-off, in that he feels no particular attraction to Tomie. This of course intrigues Tomie, and she begins to become obsessed with him. Soon, he is caught in a vicious struggle between two rival Tomies. And neither Tomie will die.

Alaska Lake Monster May Be Giant Sleeper Shark
Just as Scotland's Loch Ness has an alleged lake monster known as Nessie, Alaska's Lake Iliamna has its own reported beastie dubbed "Illie."
But is the Alaskan version of the Loch Ness Monster a true unknown elusive creature? As with all unexplained phenomena, it depends on whom you ask.
Alleged sightings of a lake monster in southwest Alaska's nearly 80-mile-long, 22-mile-wide body of water began in the 1940s with pilots reporting observations of very large fish from the air.
The beast has been described as having a long, aluminum-colored body that has been estimated at nearly 30 feet long.
Light from Alien Super-Earth Seen for 1st Time
Light from an alien "super-Earth" twice the size of our own Earth has been detected by a NASA space telescope for the first time in what astronomers are calling a historic achievement.
NASA's infrared Spitzer Space Telescope spotted light from the alien planet 55 Cancri e, which orbits a star 41 light-years from Earth. A year on the extrasolar planet lasts just 18 hours.
The planet 55 Cancri e was first discovered in 2004 and is not a habitable world. Instead, it is known as a super-Earth because of its size: The world is about twice the width of Earth and is super-dense, with about eight times the mass of Earth.

Strange Deepstaria Enigmatica Jellyfish Video Caught by ROV
Deepstaria enigmatica, is a jellyfish of the family Ulmaridae first described in 1967 by F.S. Russel. The bell of this jellyfish is very thin and wide (up to approx. 60 cm), and resembles a translucent, folding sheet or "lava lamp" as the animal moves.
Man Shot Through Neck With Arrow Survives
This was no simple walk in the park.
A Russian man out with his two daughters was shot in the neck with an arrow. But, miraculously, Konstantine Myakush is expected to make a full recovery, according to 9News.com.
Despite the grotesque injury, Myakush managed to call his wife just after getting hit. She called an ambulance for him, the Daily Mail.
Footage from the April 30 incident shows the 38-year-old man sitting remarkably still in a hospital with the 20-inch arrow protruding from his neck. It entered on his right side beneath his jaw and pokes out of throat on the left.
The weapon -- possibly misfired from an archer at a nearby sports complex -- fortunately did not strike any major arteries. Surgeons successfully removed the arrow.

Coast to Coast AM: Megacatastrophes
Appearing during the middle two hours, author and astronomer David Darling talked about a variety of strange ways the Earth and its inhabitants could meet with a sudden and unexpected end, with some possibilities more probable than others. A colliding asteroid 5-10 miles across could be a "planet-buster" in the sense that it would change the course of civilization, but it's more likely we'd be hit by a smaller object, he noted. A smaller asteroid, say 500 feet across, could hit with the impact of 100 H bombs, and cause regional devastation with massive tsunamis, he added.
If a rogue planet was headed toward us on a collision course, there might not be a lot we could do about it, but we'd know about it decades in advance, Darling continued. There is some danger to Earth from nearby stars going supernova. It's possible gamma ray bursts of radiation from such an explosion could be pointed at us and destroy our ozone layer, he detailed. Darling also talked about the possibility of a supervolcano eruption, such as at Yellowstone where the massive caldron is 35-40 miles across. This type of event would wipe out agriculture in North America for a number of years, he warned.
Giant UFO sighting in California: 'I almost drove off the road'
A California witness driving north on toll Route 73 near Irvine reports watching a "giant, long, thin, dark gray" hovering object on May 5, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
"I almost drove off road," the witness stated. "I know what it was not, but I don't know what it was. Not a cloud, not an airplane, not a helicopter...truly nothing I can say I know of unless military is doing something secret at old El Toro Air Field."
The witness assumes the football field-length object was seen by many other people in the area.
"I assumed thousands of people saw this from ground. I assume you will be bombarded by reports. I called my friend coming south on Route 5, but she didn't see it? It was something."
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on May 7, 2012. Irvine is in suburban Orange County, CA, population 212,375.
California is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. California had 77 reports in April 2012 - the highest reporting state in the nation.

Monster Sunspot Threatens to Unleash Powerful Solar Flares
An enormous sunspot group has taken shape on the surface of the sun, hinting that our star may soon start spouting off some powerful storms.
The huge sunspot complex, known as AR 1476, rotated into Earth's view over the weekend. It measures more than 60,000 miles (100,000 kilometers) across, researchers said. Scientists with NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory mission, a space-based telescope watching the sun, dubbed the solar structure a "monster sunspot" in a Twitter announcement.
AR 1476 is big enough for amateur astronomers with decent equipment to spot from their backyards, weather permitting. (Warning: Never look at the sun directly with telescopes or the unaided eye. Special filters are required for safe solar viewing to avoid serious eye damage.)
"With at least four dark cores larger than Earth, AR 1476 sprawls more than 100,000 km from end to end, and makes an easy target for backyard solar telescopes," the website Spaceweather.com reported Monday (May 7).

Shadow Government: Welcome to America's biggest spy center
James Bamford, Investigative Journalist/Author joins Thom Hartmann. There's a massive new building under construction in the city of Bluffdale, Utah - population just seven and a half thousand people. It's a two billion dollar project commissioned by the National Security Agency - complete with heavy fortifications, surveillance, and top-secret clearance. The building - officially being recognized under the innocuous name - the Utah Data Center - is expected to be completed by later Summer of 2013. But what exactly is it? What will be going on within the top-secret walls of the $2 billion Utah Data Center? The answer...surveillance - but not just surveillance - we're talking the biggest spy center this nation has ever seen. And if you use the Internet, talk on the phone, or check out books from the library - then you should be very concerned with this so-called Data Center - or Spy Center - under construction in Utah
