Coast To Coast - Devils Toy Box with Joshua P. Warren

In the second half of Tuesday's show, author & researcher Joshua P. Warren talked about the "Devil's Toy Box," and some of his other investigations into the paranormal. He created and tested out a Devil's Toy Box, a set of square mirrors that form a cube, which can become a focal point for energies reflected into itself. Warren recorded audio from inside the box using a suction cup microphone, and static, thumping sounds, and muffled voices were heard (and played on the show), even though there was silence in the room when he made the recording. He also held the Devil's Toy Box up to Raymond Moody's psychomanteum mirror, and a buzzing, hissing sound emerged which suggested to him that certain objects have an energy field around them that the Toy Box is sensitive to.

"Mirrors occupy a very special place, because they send back to you what you're putting out," Warren noted, and when you set up a space where energy is projected back onto itself, it creates "its own separate little universe," that may open contact with other dimensions. He also discussed his investigation into the anomalous Brown Mountain Lights, and one witness, Tommy Hunter, who in 1982, actually touched one of the balls of lights, and received a shock.

Playful Ghost in Haunted Pub Pinches Barmaids' Bottoms

Employees at the pub say they are haunted by a cheeky phantom who is not picky in who he targets. Manager Christian Dixon even claims to have had his buttocks tweaked.

He said: 'It’s quite shocking - and definitely not a muscle spasm. It’s a very firm pinch. It happens day and night.

The human chameleon: Meet the amateur make-up artist who can become anyone... with enough face paint

'You turn round, but there’s no one there. It’s most off-putting.'

Assistant manager and barmaid Paula Wharton also says she has felt the vice-like grip of the playful spook.

The 41-year-old said: 'I don’t think he’s nasty, he’s just another regular.

Secret Government Super Sonic Train Causing Strange Booms Across US?

The Vary High Speed Transit System (VHST) was a Rand Corporation concept that was presented to the military industrial complex in the 1970′s.

The concept was way ahead of it’s time, exactly what the secret sinister government needed to connect their vast expansions of underground bases throughout the United States and in various regions worldwide.

This could offer an explanation for some of the recent strange sounds and booms across the country.

The late (and presumably murdered) Phil Schneider spoke about what he called anElectro Magneto Leviton Train System that traveled at speeds in excess of Mach 2.

The VHST and its proposed routes, (vast advanced tunnel systems) at the time of it’s conception in the early 1970′s, fit and follow other underground base researchers findings as well as some of my own.

An interesting aspect within the Rand Corp. document is the fact that the tunnels are way to expansive to pump all of the air out at once to create the frictionless environment needed travel at speeds in excess of 10,000+ MPH.

Exploding government toilets: employees afraid to pee

Six months after what was probably the worst Monday of all time for two General Services Administration employees and the symbol du jour of broken government, documents requested by Jason Smathers have shed light on a restroom disaster deemed the result of an aging plumbing system and human error.

Shortly after the exploding toilet, which injured GSA two employees in Washington, D.C., few details beyond the fact that the injuries were not life-threatening made their way to media and bloggers hungry for metaphors of Washington politics - until now.

The internal emails released to Smathers from GSA provide insight into the panic. While the agency withheld 90 documents under privacy exemptions (redactions Smathers is appealing), the back-and-forth between employees reveals new details about what happened that fateful day.

Swan attacks man and drowns

A man has drowned after being attacked by a swan, which knocked him out of his kayak and stopped him swimming to shore. So how dangerous are these graceful white birds?

Anthony Hensley, 37, worked for a company that provided swans to keep geese away from property.

On Saturday morning, the married father of two set out in a kayak across a pond at a residential complex in Des Plaines, just outside Chicago, where he was tending the birds.

One of the swans charged his boat, capsizing it, says Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart, whose deputies investigated the death.

What makes a super spreading virus?

Parameters that should be theoretically equal often aren’t so in the real world. Ideally everyone should have the same potential to transmit an infection during a given outbreak, but it has long been observed that this isn’t true. Super-spreaders play an extraordinary role in driving outbreaks of infectious disease. A super-spreader is a person who transmits an infection to a significantly greater number of other people than the average infected person. The occurrence of a super spreader early in an outbreak can be the difference between a local outbreak that fizzles out and a regional epidemic.

Super-spreaders have been known since infamous Typhoid Mary spread typhoid fever to 51 people over seven years with just an asymptomatic infection [1]. For much of the time since then, they have been treated as oddities, puzzles that could be cracked as if there was necessarily something intrinsically wrong with them. It turns out that its a lot more complicated than personal immunity or genetics. Eventually new models arose like the “20/80? rule that says that 20% of cases are responsible for 80% of the transmission and formed a core ‘high risk’ group [2,3]. This model works well for some diseases but not all.

Huge solar flare unleashed from the sun

The sun erupted in an amazing solar flare Monday, unleashing an intense eruption of super-heated plasma that arced high above the star's surface before blasting out into space.

The powerful solar flare occurred at 1:45 p.m. EDT and registered as a moderate M1.7-class on the scale of sun storms, placing it firmly in the middle of the scale used by scientists to measure flare strength. The storm is not the strongest this year from the sun, but photos and video of the solar flare captured by NASA spacecraft revealed it to be an eye-popping display of magnetic plasma.
