Secrets of the Dead III: 4. Tragedy at the Pole (2002)
In November 1911, Captain Robert Falcon Scott and a British team began a 900-mile trek across Antarctica to reach the South Pole. They reached the Pole in January 1912, but a month behind Roald Amundsen's Norwegians. On the return trip, Scott and his four companions perished, and their legacy has been debated ever since. Meteorological data, diaries, and accounts by survivors re-create the sights, sounds, legends, and ferocious weather.
Message In A Bottle Travels 4,000 Miles From Connecticut To England
Back in October 2010, Jerry Pope had a bottle he wanted to toss.
But instead of recycling it, he decided to stick in a message and throw it into the sea near his hometown of Niantic, Conn.
"I said, 'Good luck to you,' and maybe somebody will find the bottle, and maybe hopefully, somebody will find it and send me a letter," Pope told NBC Connecticut.
Pope had no idea where the currents might take the bottle, but figured it might never get out of Niantic Bay.
Occult Profile: Marisa Anderson, medium
You may have already read about Marisa Anderson as, like other noted folks in mediumship, she has been published frequently. She has indeed been around awhile but she is not one of the pretentious psychic mediums we see around. She has been written up on and about from such places asAmerican Woman Magazine, The Boston Globe, Fate Magazine, First for Women Magazine, Longevity Magazine, New Woman Magazine and Today's Woman. She's done the gambit of top radio shows such as New Yorks WOR with famed legendary Joe Franklin to ABC News with anchor Edward Miller, to NBC News in Missouri and so forth. Marisa's longevity, pureness and soulful ways makes her a real intuitive gem in anyones paranormal and occultist book. Look away from your reality television programming and manufactured 'starlets' and focus in on inspirational individuals such as Marisa. I present to you a three-part exclusive interview with this great soul.
Alexandra Holzer: When did you know you had an ability to 'see' and 'know' beyond what the average person could see and know? When did it all start for you?

Alien Messages in Plain Sight
Could there be a faster way to discover interesting galactic neighbors? Is there some scheme for detecting aliens that might work quicker than tuning in their radio transmissions or hunting down their laser pulses?
There might be, and for a simple reason. The cosmos is three times as old as Earth. During most of creation's 14 billion year history, our solar system wasn't around. Nonetheless, the early universe still had the right stuff for life, and contained worlds that were just as suitable for spawning biology and intelligence as our own.
Humans have existed only for the last 0.001 percent of cosmic time. All of which says that -- unless the Homo sapiens brain is the one-and-only instance of cogitating machinery -- nearly all the intelligence that's out there is beyond our level.

Taylor Wilson (17 Year Old Nuclear Scientist): Yup, I built a fusion reactor
Taylor Wilson believes nuclear fusion is a solution to our future energy needs, and that kids can change the world. And he knows something about both of those: When he was 14, he built a working fusion reactor in his parents' garage. Now 17, he takes the TED stage to tell (the short version of) his story.
Shadow Government: Report Ties "Invisible Children/KONY 2012" To Christian Cult "The Family":
The Fellowship/The Family believes that the elite win power by the will of God, who
uses them for his purposes. Its mission is to help the powerful
understand their role in God’s plan. The Family represents "Jesus plus
nothing," as its leader, Doug Coe, puts it, the "totalitarianism of
God," What makes "The Family" so dangerous is they have unfettered
access to our leaders in the U.S government at all levels.
Doug Coe, the leader compares the level of commitment necessary, to the blind devotion that Adolph Hitler demanded from his disciples. Citing Hitler, Lenin and Mao as leadership models, the Family's current leader, Doug Coe, declares, 'We work with power where we can, build new power where we can't'.
It is unlikely that many Americans who watched Invisible Children's record-smashing viral video hit KONY 2012 were aware of IC's evangelical nature (1, 2) or of the nonprofit's early financing from foundations that back the hard Christian right, including one of the biggest funders of the 2008 push for California's anti-same sex marriage Proposition 8.
But Invisible Children, which has branded itself as welcoming cultural, religious, and sexual diversity, also enjoys extensive institutional and social ties to the global evangelical network known as The Fellowship (also known as "The Family") - which has been credited with inspiring and providing "technical support" [see footnote 1] for Uganda's internationally-denounced Anti Homosexuality Bill, also dubbed the "kill the gays" bill.

"[The Family] functions invisibly like the mafia... They keep their organization invisible. Everything visible is transitory. Everything invisible is permanent and lasts forever. The more you can make your organization invisible, the more influence it will have." - Doug CoeExecutive Summary
