UFO - Billy Meier interview by Randolph Winters
"Billy" Eduard Albert Meier (February 3, 1937) is a citizen of Switzerland who claims to be a UFO contactee. He is also the source of many controversial UFO photographs, which he states are evidence of his encounters. Meier reports regular contact with extraterrestrials who impart spiritual and philosophical wisdom. He describes the Plejaren (aliens from the Pleiades) as humanoid.
The Amazing Energy Of Edd Edwards
UFODigest-- I read an article about a man being tested by the Rhine Research Center in Durham North Carolina for his extreme energy levels and his ability to control his energy. The Rhine Research Center is a hub for research and education on the basic nature of consciousness. The man Edd Edwards was being tested, as he was able to channel his energy to move or adjust energy fields as well as to heal animals and people who were ill.
My curiosity got the better of me and I searched out this man who graciously agreed to talk to me about his abilities.
Edd Edwards lives in a small town in Georgia. He is a polite friendly intelligent man who is a pleasure to talk to. What makes Edd Edwards different from the rest of us is his powerful energy force and his ability to control it.
Edd (which is pronounced Eddie) first recalls his awareness of energy when he was a small child of two or three. His grandmother had a strong energy source and knew how to use her energy. His grandmother was a well-known hands on healer in their Christian community. She realized Edd also was gifted with this strong force and started him off early in life learning the ways of using and handling his strong energy abilities.

Is it possible to make a telepathic connection through psychometry?
Paranormal.About.com-- Question: Is it possible to make a telepathic connection through psychometry?
"I printed a photograph of a person from the internet," says Jim. "I tried getting impressions and feelings. Sometimes the images are clear, other times they're fuzzy. If I want to see images in my mind, do I need to look at the person's face? Do I close my eyes and concentrate on their face? If not, how do I keep them in mind? Is it true that the person in the picture could sense that someone was studying their picture even though they are miles away? If you sleep with the picture under your pillow, would you make a psychic connection? Is it possible to make a telepathic connection through psychometry?"
Answer: To answer Jim's questions, I asked psychometry expert Becky Walsh. Here is her response:
Intuition/psychic connection always works to one very important universal law, which is we cannot "see" or "know" with out permission. This is because we will interfere with someone else's free will, and free will is one of our greatest gifts -- the right to be able to choose. So you will get mixed results if the person in the photo you have hasn't given you permission to know information about them as this isn't in their free will. You can read someone's personality from a photo, but not information about their life.

The real-life "Men Who Stare at Goats" were even weirder
BoingBoing.net-- How many of the kooky military research projects featured in The Men Who Stare at Goats really happened? Reality is more complicated than the movie (or the book), reports David Hambling at Wired's Danger Room blog. But reality may also be weirder. Hambling's post examines, Snopes-style, the truth or bogosity of such purported American military projects as:
• Psychic Spies
• Drug experimentation
• Killing animals with telepathy
• Sound weapons
• An army of hippies who can smite you with the sheer force of their BO.
Oh alright, I embellished the last one a bit. Read: Psychic Spies, Acid Guinea Pigs, New Age Soldiers: the True Men Who Stare at Goats (Danger Room, thanks Noah Shachtman)
Image: the First Earth Battalion manual (PDF) from the movie, which was based very closely on the original manual created by Lt. Col. Jim Channon. He "dove deep into the New Age movement, and came back to the military with a most alternative view of warfare -- one in which troops would carry flowers and symbolic animals into battle."
